Mar. 29th, 2021 09:41 pmHi Author! I'm so looking forward to seeing what you write for me - I really do love all kinds of fic, but have given you a few ideas below in case your Muse needs a gentle shove. I have a few DNWs, but I honestly read all kinds of things.

- BDSM, D/s or manipulative power dynamics, roleplaying
- Excessive gore/violence; scat/watersports/snowballing
- Character death (unless it’s canon and you’re going to fix it!)
- High school/teenager/de-aged AUs (I have teens in the house, ‘nuff said)
Likes
- Fluff! I adore fluff, be it smutty fluff or angsty fluff, or a delightful combination of the two. Life is sucky right now, so we all need all the fluff.
- Smut! Hot, consensual, as graphic or non- as you like, a generous dollop of sexy times is always appreciated. Likewise if you’re not comfortable with writing actual sex, I’m a big fan of cuddles and snuggles. Touch for the touch starved, affection for the lonely, emotional intimacy, all the kissing etc. Smooshy stuff like love at first sight and soulmates are also appreciated.
- Whilst I don’t like a/b/o relationship dynamics, I’m quite happy to read about non-human genitalia. Alien or werewolf, merman or android, be as inventive as you like. Give me different standards of beauty and attractiveness. Orgasm delay is fun. Denial is not.
- Friends-to-lovers, enemies-to-lovers, strangers-to-lovers - I adore relationship development arcs.
- Mundane domesticity. Airships/Steampunk. Spaceships/sci-fi. Victorian era.
- Older characters. There’s nothing quite like a silver fox, male or female. They know what they want, how to get it and how to give their partners what they want in return.
- HEA/HFN. Honestly, you can get as angsty as you wish as long as everyone gets their Happy Ever After. We survived 2020, we deserve it.
Sherlock Holmes/John Watson - Sherlock Holmes (ACD)- My first fandom, and one of my forever favourites. Other fandoms wax and wane, but Doyle’s Victorian gentlemen are perennial. Furtive glances, a solicitous arm offered, the locking of a bedroom door - by all means, give me period-typical caution (and clothes and speech and cases), but behind that locked door, let me see the adoration our faithful Watson has for his Holmes, and the devout appreciation our consulting detective has for his biographer. Angsty first-time smut, exciting case-fic or gentle retirement fic set in Holmes’ Sussex cottage are also sure fire winners. If you want to bring them forward in time, make them a little more steampunk, give me your own twist on modern-day Holmes & Watson, I would be totally on board for that too.
Geralt of Rivia/Dandelion - The Witcher (TV/books) - Big, burly, misunderstood, over-protective Witcher and his faithful, leap-before-he-looks, happy-go-lucky Bard. Canon setting or modern AU, all the fluff or angsty smut. I came to the fandom through the TV show (helloooo Henry) then dived into the books. I love their dynamic, especially when Geralt is portrayed as the introspective, intelligent man he is in the books, not the monosyllabic himbo that some fics think he is. AUs are great, canon-compliant romps in mid-winter Kaer Morhen are equally lovely.
- Also, I adore Roach. She has a mind of her own and isn’t afraid to show it.
Bill Tanner/Gareth Mallory (or James Bond or Q, or any combination thereof) - James Bond (Craig movies)
Bill Tanner is a BAMF and no one can convince me otherwise. He deserves all the love. Put him front and centre, let him shake off the grey little bureaucrat image and shine, and I will love you forever (this has absolutely nothing to do with my Rory Kinnear obsession, how dare you). Gareth Mallory is his first love, although he's not averse to letting off a little steam with 007 or down in Q branch. We're talking competence kink really, aren't we? - To be honest, any combination of these four would be marvellous. I mean, I’d prefer Tanner to be involved, but whoever nommed the ‘James Bond/Mallory/Q’ tag deserves some kind of award because yes, I can totally see that one too. Canon set mission fic or retirement fic would be wonderful, as would any number of AUs. Go wild.
Clint Barton/Phil Coulson - Marvel Cinematic Universe
Oh god, these two are the ABSOLUTE OTP of my heart. I adore Coulson, and all his dorky BAMF ways. All the fandom tropes apply here, from soulmates to married undercover to there was only one bed. Make it feel good, though, because god knows they need all the happy ever after. Some h/c is more than fine, as long as the c is front and centre XD Incorporate canon from any of the movies, as long as no one dies. Cameos from Nat and Steve and Tony & co will be gratefully appreciated, although pre-canon mission fic is also awesome.
Tony Stark/Steve Rogers/James "Bucky" Barnes
Give Tony all the love. ALL of it. He cares so deeply, as much as he tries to hide it. Just look at how Coulson went from Agent to Coulson to 'His name was Phil'. screams into hands. He needs showing just how valuable he is, and what better way than all the love two super soldiers can give him? And yes, you’re right, I absolutely refuse to acknowledge the end of Endgame. Unless you want to bring him back to life thanks to the Wakandans, and have Steve & Bucky there to ease him back into the land of the living, so to speak. If you’re not a fan of threesomes, then by all means, I’d love some Steve/Tony or Steve/Bucky. Steve is not an innocent, wide eyed, ingenue, though. He is a battle hardened veteran of WWII and there is no way he came out of the forests of Germany a virgin. Give me a Steve that knows what he wants, what his partner wants, and how to get and give everyone what they need. If you go for Steve/Bucky, please please no Tony-bashing. Tony Stark is a precious cinnamon roll who needs saving from himself, and I really hate Steve/Bucky fics which stomp on him. Pair him up with Pepper, Rhodey, Peter, Strange - someone who understands him.- Original Work (M/M)
- Human Galactic Emperor/Alien Galactic Emperor He Marries To End War
- Prince sent in Diplomatic Marriage/Chief of Nomadic People
- Pirate Captain/Naval Officer Stranded With Him On An Uninhabited Island
- Fluff Smut Worldbuilding Fantasy Science Fiction
- These OW fic prompts jumped out at me and I would love it if someone grabbed one and ran with it. Galactic emperors could just as easily be generals or princes or kings, it could be an arranged marriage by their councils at the end of the war, by their overlords/parents/prime ministers. They could have agreed to it themselves, just to stop the fighting and save their people. What kind of war does this end? Was it a space battle? Land based? For resources or boundaries or that one particular moon? Maybe you want to gloss over the actual war, and focus on the marriage and how two enemies become friends and then lovers because that is a truly marvellous trope.
- The prince and his nomad could follow similar lines, although I admit my brain went ‘desert nomad, trapped in the marital tent during a sandstorm’. Prince of where? And why did they need a diplomatic marriage? To end a war? Unite two families/countries? As reparation for trespassing on crown property? Maybe they have a common enemy, and by uniting they present a stronger front against them. Perhaps it was a pact between their parents when the boys were born.
- Pirates and naval officers tend to mean steampunk to me, but I’m an airship ho and love all things Victorian, but if you’d like to make it a space pirate and his starship captain opposite, then I’m all ears. Why are they stranded? Maybe the captain was kidnapped from some space station or foreign diplomatic mission, but the pirate’s ship crashed after the captain was snatched. Maybe the captain was escorting the pirate to trial/space jail, and the shuttle nose dived. How do these enemies become lovers? Do they skip the friends part entirely and then realise, uh-oh feelings? So much scope, have at it. Pick something totally different and surprise me :)
- I mean, if you want to turn one of these prompts into an AU for any of the above fandom pairings/trios, I would be utterly delighted and probably make everyone I know read the story <3
